The game will be available across all major platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, including Steam Deck compatibility.
The game's development has reached "gold standard" status, signifying completion of the core development and a high likelihood of on-time release.
Two significant DLC expansions are planned:
Crossroads of the World (March Release): This DLC will launch in two parts.
- Part 1: Introduces Great Britain and Carthage as playable civilizations, along with the new leader Ada Lovelace.
- Part 2 (Three weeks after Part 1): Adds Simon Bolivar as a leader, and Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.
Right to Rule (Q2/Q3 2025): This expansion will include two additional leaders, four new civilizations, and several new natural wonders.
Beyond the DLC, Firaxis is committed to ongoing improvements. March will see the addition of new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.
