The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came in December 2023, serving as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime series that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young boy who gets a second chance at life through a pact with a devil dog named Pochita. This newfound alliance grants Denji the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from his limbs and head, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
