Castle Doombad is back! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game from Grumpyface Studios (publishers of hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans) and Yodo1, returns after its 2014 debut.
Grumpyface initially planned a single remake, but split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile, and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version of the original with updated content, launching later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.
Unleash Your Inner Villain in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay!
Embrace your evil side and build the ultimate villainous lair while thwarting heroic do-gooders. Unlike typical tower defense games, your arsenal consists of traps and minions.
This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features the full original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Unlock and upgrade over 30 traps, and collect over 100 items. A new cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you customize your Dark Lord and control room with evil artifacts and loot, combined with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks.
A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares granting unique powers and abilities. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay on the Google Play Store today!
