Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region in *Atelier Yumia* with Yumia and your friends, you'll soon discover the delightful option to set up camp and bond with your companions. However, figuring out the specifics of where and when you can pitch your tent can be a bit tricky. Here's a clear guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.
How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia
You'll unlock the ability to craft Camping Sets through Simple Synthesis once you've cleared the manabound Dux Lighthouse, marking your first foray into these mystical areas with Yumia. After establishing a base on the newly revealed land, make your way back to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.
Crafting a Camping Set requires the following materials:
- 5% Energy
- 3 Wood
- 2 Water
- 5 Fiber
- 2 Charcoal
You can easily gather all these materials around the Ligneus Survey Base. Water can be sourced from wells scattered throughout the region or by harvesting plants along riverbanks, which also yield fiber. Charcoal is produced when you break down ore.
Once you've collected the necessary materials, navigate to the Simple Synthesis menu and ensure you have a 4×4 space available before crafting your Camping Set. If you lack the space, the Camping Set will be stored in your stash at the Atelier or one of your bases.
Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia
With your Camping Set ready, you're free to camp wherever there's an open expanse of land. Steer clear of narrow cliffs or thick forests; instead, seek out more spacious areas. The game offers numerous campsites, like the River Campsite near Ligneus Survey Base, where you can set up a temporary base for camping.
If you have a Camping Set in your Exploration Bag, check the radial menu to see if the Camping option in the bottom right corner is highlighted. A greyed-out option means you can't camp in that location.
What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia
Camping is your exclusive opportunity to cook the food you gather during your adventures, making it crucial to find a rest spot before tackling bosses or entering manabound areas, especially on higher difficulty settings.
Moreover, camping provides a unique chance to engage in special dialogues with your companions. While these conversations aren't pivotal to the storyline, they enrich your understanding of your fellow travelers.
And that's everything you need to know to enjoy the camping experience in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*.
