New Multiplayer Maps
Season 2 introduces five new multiplayer maps designed to enhance the game's map selection:
- Bounty (6v6): A medium-sized map set in a crime boss's penthouse atop an Avalon skyscraper.
- Dealership (6v6): A medium-sized map within a luxury car dealership concealing a black market operation.
- Lifeline (2v2/6v6): A small Strike map on a yacht, reminiscent of Hijacked.
- Bullet (2v2/6v6): A small Strike map set on a high-speed bullet train (Mid-Season release).
- Grind (6v6): A remastered skatepark from Call of Duty: Black Ops II (Mid-Season release).
New Multiplayer Game Modes
Alongside the new maps, Season 2 introduces several fresh game modes:
- Overdrive: A Team Deathmatch variant where earned medals grant temporary bonuses and stars, resetting upon death or a timer.
- Gun Game: The classic free-for-all mode returns, with players cycling through 20 weapons upon each kill.
- Valentine's Day Limited Time Modes: Two themed modes will arrive post-launch: Third Wheel Gunfight (3v3 Gunfight) and Couples Dance Off (a moshpit of 2v2 Face Off modes).
Ranked Play Rewards
Season 2 Ranked Play offers a range of rewards for dedicated players, including camos, calling cards, and more, earned through ranking progression.
