Indie developer Dyglone has revealed their upcoming physics-based puzzle game, UFO-Man, launching on Steam and iOS. The deceptively simple objective—transporting a box using your UFO's tractor beam—quickly transforms into a frustratingly challenging experience.
Players must navigate intricate levels filled with treacherous terrain, precarious platforms, and speeding vehicles. The absence of checkpoints adds to the difficulty; dropping the cargo means restarting the level from scratch. This punishing gameplay is, however, offset by the game's charming low-poly visuals and relaxing soundtrack.
Inspired by the Japanese bar game "Iraira-bou," UFO-Man offers a unique blend of precision and patience. To mitigate the frustration, a "Crash Count" feature tracks the number of collisions, encouraging players to strive for perfect runs.
