Enter the Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell roguelike, is launching a limited Android test in China! From June 28th to July 8th, Chinese players can experience a free demo on TapTap, offering a glimpse into the Gungeon's chaotic depths.
This mobile demo retains the core roguelike gameplay: unique runs, a diverse cast of quirky heroes, each with their own reasons for descending into the bullet-infested labyrinth, and constantly shifting challenges in the Gungeon's sprawling chambers.
The controls and interface have been redesigned for intuitive touchscreen play, allowing for smooth dodging and rapid-fire combat. A two-player online co-op mode lets you team up with a friend to conquer the Gungeon together.
The Demo's Features:
The demo lets you explore the first two floors, battling unusual gun-toting enemies and challenging bullet-hell bosses. You'll also get to wield a selection of the game's vast arsenal, from standard pistols to outlandish weaponry.
This test period is crucial for gathering player feedback. Bug reports, glitch identification, and optimization suggestions are highly valued to ensure a polished final product. Find the TapTap page to participate.
Global Release?
Currently, the test is exclusive to China, with a Chinese language interface. While a worldwide release date hasn't been announced, the game's popularity strongly suggests a global launch is likely in the future.
