Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online service on January 24th, 2025, but will transition to an offline version. This means players can still enjoy the game's story and progress after the shutdown date.
Shutdown and Offline Transition:
The online servers will be deactivated on January 24th, 2025. Before this date, a crucial update (version 1.43.0) will be released on January 10th (4:00 to 9:00 GMT) allowing players to save their game data locally. This is a one-time opportunity to preserve all progress. A data save button will be available on the main menu. Players can save their data multiple times before the January 24th deadline (4:00 GMT). Unsaved data will be lost permanently after this time.
The offline version will be a standalone experience with no further updates. Deleting the app will result in permanent data loss, and re-installation will not be possible. The offline mode will allow players to replay the story, upgrade units, and access their saved progress.
Action Required:
Update your game to version 1.43.0 after the January 10th maintenance. Save your game data before January 24th, 4:00 GMT. Download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store before the online service ends.
While an offline version is preferable to complete closure, players should act quickly to preserve their progress. Stay tuned for our next article covering Play Together's first 2025 update, including the new Club feature!
