Remedy Entertainment has announced a major free Anniversary Update for Alan Wake 2, launching October 22nd. The developer expressed gratitude to the fanbase for their support since the game's release.
This free update, released alongside The Lake House expansion, significantly expands accessibility options. New features include infinite ammo, one-hit kills, and horizontal axis inversion. PS5 players will also benefit from improved DualSense functionality, adding haptic feedback to healing items and throwable objects.
The update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback gathered since launch. Remedy highlights their continued work on the game, including development of the Night Springs and Lake House expansions. This Anniversary Update compiles these improvements and adjustments.
