Oni Press is bringing back the magic of Adventure Time with a new monthly comic book series launching in April 2025, in collaboration with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

Adventure Time #1, written by Nick Winn with interior art by Derek Ballard, continues the adventures of Finn and Jake in the Land of Ooo, picking up after the animated series finale. The initial story arc is titled "Best of Buds."
Winn shared his excitement, stating, "Being able to revisit the Land of Ooo through Oni Press has been a joy and a challenge…to build something new while still keeping the energy and charm."
Series editor Megan Brown added, "The Land of Ooo has long been home to some of the most radically unique comics, and we’re excited to add to their rich legacy…a story that is full of friendship, heart, and wild new challenges."
