MotorSim 2 is a powerful performance calculator designed for land vehicles. This app focuses solely on physical simulation of straight-line acceleration; it's not a driving game. MotorSim 2 lets you meticulously configure vehicle specifications and then calculates the resulting performance characteristics.
The app includes an interactive simulator featuring a speedometer, tachometer, throttle, brake, and gear shifting (manual or automatic). It even boasts procedurally generated engine sounds (not sample-based) and visually represents the vehicle's progress along a 1/4 mile track. After testing a configuration, users can save a "ghost" or "shadow" run for later comparison against other setups.
