Dramatic High School Baseball Simulation! Foster Unique Players!
Game Outline
As a lifelong fan of baseball games, I've crafted a high school baseball simulation that embodies the excitement and drama I've always loved. Our goal is to develop players as unique and compelling as the protagonists in baseball comics.
The game strikes a perfect balance between hitting, defense, and power, ensuring a versatile and engaging experience. When you hit a game-winning home run, the moment is amplified with cool background music and iconic lines that truly bring the game to life.
In this simulation, you step into the shoes of a high school baseball team manager. Your mission is to nurture players with distinct personalities, such as "pitchers who can't control or change their pitches but throw incredible fastballs." Lead your team to victory in the prefectural tournament and the prestigious Koshien tournament, with the ultimate aim of clinching the national championship.
This "dramatic high school baseball simulation" is designed for those who relish strategy and player development, free from any gacha elements.
How to Play
Guide your players' growth by directing their practice sessions. Fielders can focus on improving their meat hitting, power, running ability, defensive skills, and intelligence, while pitchers can work on their fastballs, changeable balls, control, and stamina.
Craft a development plan that aligns with each player's unique personality. The game is filled with characters brimming with individuality, leading to intense and memorable episodes during their development:
- A genius pitcher overcomes the yips and learns to check first base, awakening to his true potential.
- A complete beginner in baseball (all abilities rated G) dedicates himself to hitting and earns a spot as a regular player by his junior year's summer.
The game's balance has been fine-tuned based on user feedback during development, ensuring there's no single guaranteed path to victory. Thanks to extensive input from seasoned players, the game has been adjusted to eliminate any "must-win" strategies.
Discover your own approach to player development and team building, creating a squad full of personality.
Practice progresses monthly, with Koshien qualifiers held in July and September. Winning these qualifiers earns your team a spot in the Koshien tournament.
Before each game, set your starting lineup and batting order. During the game, you'll direct tactics as the coach, giving instructions for bunting, stealing bases, squeeze plays, end runs, and gamble starts.
Tactical decisions can be influenced by the presence of runners on first or second base, potentially making it easier to hit grounders between these bases. The game displays animations for batted ball processing and defensive coordination, allowing you to see these details in action.
In critical moments, your teammates' enthusiastic cheers and dramatic cut-ins of decisive lines heighten the game's intensity.
Given the high school setting, senior players retire after the summer tournament. We're also planning to introduce a "User Koshien" feature (not yet available in the current version), where users can compete in tournaments with their teams, preserving data just before the third-year students retire. An official User Koshien tournament is also in the works.
