Key features of the app include the ability to add trap locations and create areas with multiple traps, organized by the most efficient sequence for navigation. Users can navigate from trap to trap within the ordered area, ensuring a systematic approach to fishing. The app also records and displays a tracklog of the area being searched, preventing redundant searches over the same track.
For improved trap management, the app records historical locations of each trap, allowing users to anticipate future locations. Additionally, it records the condition of each trap, aiding in decisions about necessary repairs or if the trap was found during the last search. This feature is crucial for determining which traps to fish.
Fishermen can also record the catch count for each visit and rate the quality of the catches using a color-coded system ranging from "Hot" to "Cold". This helps in identifying the most productive traps. To safeguard your data, the app automatically backs up to an SD-Card, protecting against device failure.
