This app offers three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable via the in-app settings.
Four Cards Golf Rules:
The objective, like in golf, is to achieve the lowest score. Nine rounds comprise a game. Each round begins with each player receiving four face-down cards; remaining cards form the draw pile, with one card face-up in the discard pile.
Players initially get one peek at the two nearest cards in their hand. These must remain hidden. Subsequent card viewing is only allowed during discarding or final scoring.
On a turn, a player may draw from either the draw pile (replacing a hidden card without viewing it, then discarding the replaced card face-up) or the discard pile (using the face-up card to replace a card, then discarding it). A player may also choose to "knock," ending their turn and the round.
Scoring:
- Pairs (same value) in a row or column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 10 points
- Other cards: face value
- Four of a kind: -6 points
Six Cards Golf Rules:
This two-player game also aims for the lowest score over nine rounds. Each player starts with six face-down cards, with a draw and discard pile established as in Four Cards Golf.
Players initially reveal two cards. They then reduce their score by pairing cards of equal rank in columns or swapping cards for lower-valued ones.
Turns involve drawing one card from either pile. The drawn card is either swapped for a face-down card (leaving the swapped card face-up) or discarded. The round concludes when all cards are face-up.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 20 points
- Other cards: face value
The game supports both AI opponents and local multiplayer.
