Embark on a thrilling journey through time with "Travel Back in Time to Rule the World 1,000 Years in Advance!" This game plunges you into an epic saga where a modern army attempts to conquer the past, only to face fierce resistance from the era's inhabitants. Lead a diverse coalition of warriors from around the globe, each with unique abilities and cultural backgrounds. Whether you choose to focus on a single hero or command a vast army, this game blends strategic world domination with intense, interactive battles. And just when you think the saga is over, history may have a twist in store for you!
Upgrades
While "Travel Back in Time to Rule the World 1,000 Years in Advance" is primarily free-to-play, you can enhance your gaming experience with various upgrades. Choose which side to lead and how much territory to start with, tailoring your journey through time. Dive into fantasy battles between any two cultures, managing as many warriors as your device can support. Additionally, you have the power to customize every character in the game. Keep in mind, however, that the game features up to 1,000 characters that are regularly updated.
Controls
When guiding a specific character, you can opt for the "Classic" one-handed control system or "Dual Wield," where each hand is controlled independently. If these control schemes are new to you, you can pause the game at any time by pressing the dateline, then access the "Controls" guide. Keep an eye out for in-game hints from scrolls or books that you can peruse.
Switching between team members is seamless; simply tap the health meter or point directly at them on the battlefield. For a broader perspective, activate "Commander" mode by tapping the arrows at the bottom of the screen. In this mode, direct any active team member by swiping from their current position to a new one, whether you're instructing them to move, engage an enemy, or interact with an object. Remember, they will follow your commands as best they can, but they may have other priorities.
Regardless of your device or preferred control method, you can always zoom in or out by pinching the center of the screen.
Map
In the main "Campaign" mode, expand your empire by moving units between connected areas. You can either fortify your existing territories or attempt to capture rival ones. Note that only 50% of the units in a territory can travel, making invasions more challenging than defense.
The population of any inhabited territory can grow after each round, making it crucial to control as many territories as possible. Units will also heal over time, so consider rotating through different locations each turn for optimal strategy.
Performance
"Travel Back in Time to Rule the World 1,000 Years in Advance" is my most ambitious project to date, potentially requiring a high-end device to run at full capacity. To optimize performance, consider reducing the "Population" setting to limit the number of characters on screen, or adjust other features in the "Display" options.
This game offers a depth that goes beyond what can be fully described here. I hope you enjoy unraveling its mysteries and mastering its challenges!
